I’ll sing you a song from around the town is a manifestation of Coogan’s, highly acclaimed exhibition at the RHA in 2015. Amanda Coogan is one of the most exciting contemporary visual artists whose practice revolves around Performance Art. Her expertise lies in her ability to condense an idea to its very essence and communicate it through her body.
Amanda Coogan has been the recipient of the AIB’s Art prize in 2004. She has performed and exhibited her work extensively including the Venice Biennale, Liverpool Biennial, IMMA, Dublin, RHA, Dublin and Uilinn, West Cork. Coogan is represented by the Kevin Kavanagh Gallery, Dublin.

The publication, “I’ll sing you a song from around the town”accompanies the exhibition, jointly published by RHA, Dublin, Uilinn, West Cork Arts Centre and LCGA available during the exhibition.
