McGuire, Daniel Maclise, Ciara Finnegan, Sir John Lavery, Pauline Fitzgerald, Susan Dunne, Jerome Connor, Oliver Sheppard, Katherine West, Mary Fox, Alice Maher, Stephanie Dinkleback, Janet Mullarney, Maine Jellett, Kathy Prendergast, Siobhan Piercy, Thomas Ryan, Barrie Cooke, William Mulready, Anne Brennan, Amelia Stein, Sir Gerard Kelly, Jack Donovan, Unknown, Irish School 19th Century.
Dr. Fitzgibbon was the Mid West Arts Officer in the early eighties and closely associated with many art projects and developments in this area. Subsequent to her time in Limerick, Marian moved to the Arts Council/An Chomhairle Ealaíon where she was responsible for the development of the Local Arts strategy which led to the appointment of Arts Officers throughout the country. After a stellar career in academia Marian’s commitment to the arts remains undiminished and she has sat on many institutional boards including, most recently, the National Library of Ireland.
