(LCGA) announces Open Call for Spring / Summer 2022 Test Space Residency
After a highly successful pilot programme which ran in Autumn/ Winter 2021, LCGA is delighted to launch the second edition of Test Space Residency for Spring/Summer 2022. This Open Call is for both an On-site & On-line Artist in Residence, and runs until the deadline of 5pm Mon March 7th.
LCGA is continuing a commitment to the development of a Equality, Inclusion & Diversity (EID) Policy, with this edition of Test Space Residency. Applicants are asked to demonstrate in what way their previous work, proposed residency project or ongoing practise specifically relates to these topics or aims.

2 successful candidates will be chosen, 1 On-site & 1 On-line Artist in Residency, for 8 weeks in residency starting late April and ending early June 2022.
The On-site Artist in Residency will have use of physical studio space in the Herbert Gallery. Support and resources will be provided in-person by LCGA staff.
The On-line Artist in Residency will have use of an online workspace - the temporary exhibition platform Pages at www.limerickgallerypages.com. Support and resources will be provided remotely by LCGA staff.
Both artists will receive ongoing LCGA guidance and resources, and have the opportunity to host a workshop during their time in residency. Each artist will receive an artist fee of €3,000.
